Ingredients (makes about 1 cup):
- 1 cup raw honey (local if possible — best medicinal properties)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat tolerance)
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper (critical for turmeric absorption)
Optional upgrades for extra power:
- Add 1-2 smashed garlic cloves + sliced fresh chili peppers + fresh ginger/turmeric slices, then let infuse 2-4 weeks.
Instructions:
- In a clean glass jar, add all the spices.
- Pour in the raw honey.
- Stir vigorously until fully combined and smooth (it may take a minute — the honey will thin slightly with the spices).
- Seal and store in a cool, dark place (no refrigeration needed for months, or fridge for longer freshness).
