Eat Marigold Flowers to Help with eyesight

Yes, eating certain marigold flowers (specifically Tagetes species like African or French marigolds) can support eye health thanks to their high content of lutein and zeaxanthin—key carotenoids that accumulate in the macula of the eye.

These compounds act as natural "sunglasses" by filtering harmful blue and UV light, reducing oxidative stress, and helping lower the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and cataracts. They may also improve visual performance, contrast sensitivity, and glare recovery.

Eat Pumpkin Seeds to raise Testosterone

Pumpkin seeds (and their oil) are nutrient-dense:

  • High in zinc — One of the best plant sources. A typical serving (about 28g/1 oz) provides ~2 mg or more, a meaningful portion of daily needs.
  • Good source of magnesium — Supports overall hormone health.
  • Other compounds like healthy fats, antioxidants, leucine, and phytosterols.

Zinc is critical for testosterone production. Deficiency reliably lowers T levels (and sperm quality), while correcting it raises them. Magnesium helps by potentially reducing SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin), increasing free (active) testosterone, and supporting levels especially with exercise.

Benefits of Quercetin!

Quercetin is a powerful bioflavonoid antioxidant naturally abundant in onion peels. While many people purchase it as a supplement, it can easily be made at home by dehydrating onion skins for a few hours at 125°F in a dehydrator, then pulsing them into a fine powder. The resulting powder blends seamlessly into smoothies, soups, or marinades, offering a simple, zero-waste way to increase daily intake. As a potent antioxidant found in many fruits and vegetables, quercetin helps reduce inflammation, neutralizes free radicals, and supports cardiovascular, immune, and brain health. It also functions as a mast cell stabilizer to ease allergies by inhibiting histamine release, while protecting cells from oxidative damage and modulating signaling pathways involved in inflammation and cancer cell apoptosis.

Why Vitamin B5 is Essential!

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) is essential for human health primarily because it serves as a critical building block for coenzyme A (CoA). CoA plays a central role in cellular metabolism, helping convert carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into usable energy through the Krebs cycle. Without adequate B5, energy production is impaired, which can lead to fatigue and metabolic dysfunction. It also supports the synthesis of important molecules like cholesterol, steroid hormones, neurotransmitters (such as acetylcholine), and hemoglobin. Additionally, vitamin B5 contributes to healthy skin, wound healing, and immune function by aiding in the production of fatty acids and maintaining the skin's moisture barrier.  Foods that contain Mushrooms, Cauliflower, Zucchini, Snow Peas, Broccoli, Arugula, Cucumber, Lobster, Kidney and Liver.

Low Stomach Acid?

Low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria) occurs when the stomach does not produce enough hydrochloric acid (HCl), which is essential for digesting proteins, killing harmful bacteria, and absorbing nutrients like iron, B12, calcium, and zinc. Symptoms can include bloating, gas, indigestion, heartburn/reflux (paradoxically), undigested food in stool, fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, and increased infection risk.

Nicotine helps not hurts?

Nicotine is an alkaloid compound naturally produced by certain plants (primarily tobacco, but in trace amounts in nightshade vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes eggplant, green peppers and cauliflower) that acts as a potent stimulant on the brain's nicotinic acetylcholine receptors

Putting Bay Leaves In YOUR SOCKS?

Putting a bay leaf (or two) in your socks before bed is a popular folk remedy said to promote relaxation and better sleep through the gentle release of the leaf's aromatic essential oils—such as eugenol, linalool, and cineole—via skin contact and inhalation overnight. Proponents claim these compounds offer natural anti-inflammatory and mild analgesic effects that may soothe foot discomfort, plantar pain, or even referred joint/back tension (sometimes linked to reflexology ideas about foot zones), while their calming scent helps reduce stress and improve rest. Bay leaves also have known antimicrobial properties that could freshen feet or combat minor odors.

Purified Gum Spirits (terpentine)

Turpentine, often referred to as turpentine oil or spirits of turpentine, is a liquid distilled from the resin of pine trees. It's a volatile essential oil composed mainly of terpenes like alpha-pinene and beta-pinene. Historically, it has been used in traditional medicine, industry (as a solvent or paint thinner), and even in some household remedies. In modern contexts, it's sometimes promoted in alternative health circles as a natural remedy for various conditions, including detoxification, parasite elimination, and pain relief. However, it's important to distinguish between purified gum spirits of turpentine (derived from tree resin) and industrial varieties, which may contain impurities.

Collagen Peptides

Collagen peptides, which are hydrolyzed forms of collagen broken down for better absorption, offer several potential health benefits supported by scientific studies, particularly for skin, joints, and overall connective tissue health. They can improve skin hydration, elasticity, and firmness while reducing the appearance of wrinkles and dryness in aging skin, as shown in multiple randomized trials and meta-analyses. For joints, they help reduce pain, enhance mobility, and support cartilage health, especially in conditions like osteoarthritis or during exercise recovery. Additional evidence suggests benefits for bone density and strength (potentially aiding in osteoporosis prevention), muscle repair and strength when combined with resistance training, and even minor improvements in nail brittleness or digestive comfort in some cases. While results vary and larger long-term studies are still needed to confirm all claims, collagen peptides are generally well-tolerated and provide a convenient way to supplement the body's natural collagen production, which declines with age.

Benefits of Black Seed Oil

Black Seed Oil is derived from the seeds of the Nigella sativa plant. Known for its numerous health benefits, it has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to support overall wellness. Be sure to get a version that is cold pressed.  Known for it's anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Is often referred to as black cumin or black caraway. It contains a powerful compound called thymoquinone. Native to Southern Europe, North Africa and Southwest Asia, black seed oil is used to treat a wide range of illnesses, including cardiovascular disorders, diabetes and cancers, among others, due to one of its main components, thymoquinone. Black seed oil is most commonly used in food, typically as a spice or preservative. It can also be taken orally in powder or oil form, or applied to the skin as a lotion or gel. Black seed oil has a range of health benefits, such as anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antimicrobial effects, rendering it useful for multiple medical conditions, according to Erum N. Ilyas, M.D., a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology in Pennsylvania. Thymoquinone, the most abundant component in black seed oil, is responsible for most of these benefits, says Dr. Pratt. According to research, the compound has antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and liver- and kidney-protective properties that enhance the process of healing in a range of conditions, including acne and systemic illnesses like diabetes. Due to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, black seed oil may help reduce symptoms of dermatological conditions like psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo and acne, says Azadeh Shirazi, M.D., a board-certified dermatologist at La Jolla Dermatology and Laser Surgery Center in California.

Using Castor Oil to Remove Skin Tags

people claim castor oil—applied directly, rubbed in daily, or mixed with baking soda/bandaid-covered—softened lesions and skin tags, reduced appearance, or made them "fall off" over weeks to months. Some mix it with frankincense oil or use it overnight. These suggest it might moisturize, reduce inflammation (thanks to ricinoleic acid), or soften the rough texture due to its emollient properties.

Benefits of Heart Coherence Breathing

Heart coherence breathing (typically 5-6 breaths per minute, for 1 to 5 minutes) synchronizes heart, brain, and nervous system activity to rapidly reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and increase emotional resilience. This technique boosts parasympathetic activity, improves Heart Rate Variability (HRV), and enhances mental clarity.

Why Mineral Water Over Regular RO or Filtered Water!

Mineral water like Topo Chico comes from a known natural source.  Different brands are typically based around a geographical location due to the natural spring where the water is sourced.  Different locations offer different mineral profiles.  Some newly marketed products that do not come in a glass container are not worth the risk in my opinion, but those versions are still better than regular filtered water.  Brands I would recommend are Perrier (France, but owned by Nestle since 1992) or Topo Chico (Mexico) are some of my favorites.
